We help corporations, utilities, project developers, financial institutions, and industrial companies accelerate the energy transition through environmental commodities, renewable energy certificates, climate projects, and sustainability solutions. As our Environmental Markets business continues to expand across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Corporate Sales Manager / Key Account Manager to strengthen our commercial team across the DACH region. Role Overview – As a Corporate Sales Manager / Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing strategic relationships with corporate buyers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. – Your primary focus will be selling Voluntary Carbon Credits, Carbon Offsets, Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), Guarantees of Origin (GOs), I-RECs, and other environmental commodities. – You will work closely with sustainability leaders, procurement teams, energy managers, ESG professionals, C-level executives, and corporate decision-makers, helping clients achieve their Net Zero, renewable energy, carbon neutrality, and ESG objectives. – This is a commercially focused role combining Business Development, Corporate Sales, Key Account Management, and Environmental Markets expertise. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales – Develop new business opportunities across the DACH region. – Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of corporate prospects and strategic accounts. – Generate new business through outbound sales, networking, referrals, conferences, and industry events. – Identify opportunities within industrial companies, energy-intensive businesses, utilities, financial institutions, multinational corporations, and sustainability-focused organizations. – Prepare commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and tailored client presentations. – Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close long-term contracts. Key Account Management – Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic corporate clients. – Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts. – Develop trusted partnerships with sustainability, procurement, energy, and executive teams. – Identify cross-selling opportunities across GREENIPATH's Environmental Markets and Sustainability Services portfolio. – Deliver exceptional client experience throughout the entire commercial relationship. Environmental Commodities Sales Promote and sell: – Voluntary Carbon Credits – Carbon Offsets – Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) – Guarantees of Origin (GO) – I-RECs – REGOs – Renewable Electricity Certificates – Renewable Energy Attributes – Biomethane Certificates – Renewable Gas Guarantees of Origin (RGGOs) Market Intelligence Monitor developments across: – Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM) – Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) Markets – Guarantees of Origin (GO) – I-REC Markets – Renewable Energy Markets – CBAM – CSRD – ESG Reporting – Net Zero Regulations – European Sustainability Frameworks – Provide commercial market intelligence and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Collaboration – Work closely with Trading, Origination, Climate Advisory, Project Development, and Marketing teams. – Coordinate commercial opportunities with internal specialists to deliver integrated sustainability solutions. – Support GREENIPATH's international business development initiatives. Candidate Profile Experience – Proven experience in Corporate Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or other commercial roles, with a demonstrated ability to acquire, develop, and manage relationships with strategic corporate and enterprise clients. Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of: – Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM) – Carbon Credits – Carbon Offsets – Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) – Guarantees of Origin (GO) – I-RECs – Renewable Energy Markets – ESG – Net Zero – Carbon Neutrality – Corporate Sustainability – CBAM – CSRD Skills – Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills. – Excellent relationship-building and networking capabilities. – Proven business development experience. – Strong presentation and communication skills. – Entrepreneurial and results-driven approach. – Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment. Education Bachelor's degree in: – Business – Economics – Finance – Energy – Environmental Sciences – Engineering – Master's degree is considered an advantage. Languages – Fluent English. – German or any other additional European languages are considered an advantage.
