Your challenge

To support our Group Sustainability Management team, we are seeking a committed and professionally skilled individual with expertise in environmental management as well as in the areas of carbon credits and net zero. This is a fixed-term position until the end of May 2027 with an employment level of 70–80%.

In this role, you will make an important contribution to the implementation of LGT’s Climate Ambition 2030. You will support the team in the further development and implementation of the carbon credit strategy and take on additional operational and conceptual responsibilities within the sustainability environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Climate Ambition 2030
  • Contribute to the further development and implementation of the carbon credit strategy
  • Assist in the analysis, preparation, and documentation of sustainability and climate-related data
  • Support operational and conceptual activities within Group Sustainability Management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external partners

Your profile

  • Completed degree (university / ETH) in environmental economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on sustainability, environmental management, climate protection, or a related field
  • Professional experience in the areas of carbon credits, climate strategy, net zero, environmental management, or sustainability
  • Very good knowledge of Excel; ideally familiarity with Pivot Charts, Power Query, and Power BI
  • Structured, reliable, and independent working style, combined with a strong service orientation and excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong interest in sustainability topics within the financial services industry
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
