About the role

Greenipath is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead and expand our activities within the voluntary carbon markets and Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) sector.

We are looking for a highly successful sales professional with a proven track record of generating revenue, building strategic client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will come from a recognized market participant within carbon markets, EACs, environmental commodities, renewable energy certificates, or related sustainability sectors.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who not only drives team performance on a daily basis, but also maintains their own portfolio of clients and actively generates new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team with a strong focus on execution, accountability, and commercial performance.
  • Drive revenue growth and ensure achievement of commercial targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for voluntary carbon credits, EACs, and related sustainability products.
  • Maintain and expand a personal portfolio of corporate clients and strategic accounts.
  • Generate new business opportunities and establish long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Mentor, motivate, and manage internal sales personnel to achieve measurable results.
  • Work closely with senior management to support the company’s growth strategy.
  • Build relationships with corporate buyers, sustainability teams, energy consumers, traders, and other market participants.
  • Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and competitor activity across environmental commodity markets.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven success in corporate sales within voluntary carbon markets, EACs, renewable energy certificates, sustainability solutions, or environmental commodities.
  • Experience working for a recognized and reputable industry participant or competitor.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Commercially driven mindset with strong execution skills and focus on results.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals, generate revenue, and consistently deliver growth.
  • Existing network of corporate clients and industry relationships is highly advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and outcome-focused personality.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced international environment.
