Now we're ready to build our commercial engine.
We're looking for an entrepreneurial Sponsorship Sales Account Executive to own and grow sponsorship and partnership revenue from the ground up.
If you've sold media, events, partnerships, or B2B sponsorships before—and want to build something meaningful while earning uncapped commission—this role is for you.
About the Role
You'll own the complete sponsorship sales cycle while working directly with our Founder & management team
This isn't joining a large sales team.
You're building the commercial function from scratch with the support of an established global platform.
You'll be selling sponsorship opportunities across:
- 📰 Newsletter sponsorships
- 💻 Online events and webinars
- 🌐 Community platform partnerships
- 🌍 City meetups across 90 global cities
- 🤝 Annual ecosystem partnership packages

Compensation
25% commission on every sponsorship or partnership deal you close.

What You'll Do
1. Build the Pipeline
You'll identify ideal sponsors and create a consistent outbound sales engine.
Responsibilities
- Research companies actively marketing in climate, sustainability and energy
- Build outbound prospect lists
- Conduct personalised outreach via email and LinkedIn
- Leverage warm introductions from the Founder where appropriate
- Book and run discovery calls
- Qualify opportunities and manage your pipeline
- Stay on top of sponsorship trends across the climate ecosystem
Ideal target customers include:
- ESG software companies
- Climate SaaS
- Carbon management platforms
- Green finance providers
- Sustainability consultancies
- Climate recruitment firms
- Energy transition companies
- Climate investors
- And many more
2. Pitch, Negotiate & Close
You'll own deals from first conversation through signed agreement.
Responsibilities
- Present sponsorship packages confidently
- Tailor proposals around each client's goals
- Negotiate commercial terms
- Coordinate contracts and invoicing
- Close new sponsorship agreements
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities
You'll be selling a genuinely differentiated platform with an engaged global audience.
3. Manage Sponsor Relationships
Long-term partnerships matter more than one-off deals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with sponsors
- Share campaign results and ROI reporting
- Drive renewals before contracts expire
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships
- Coordinate internally to ensure excellent sponsor delivery
- Gather sponsor feedback to improve future offerings

What We're Looking For
Experience
You ideally have:
- 2+ years in B2B sales, sponsorship sales, media sales, events sales or partnership development
- A proven track record of independently closing deals
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract
- Interest in climate, sustainability, clean energy or venture ecosystems
