Powerex Corp. has an opening for a Front Office Summer Intern/Co-op Student. This program is designed for bright, highly analytical individuals who excelled in their high school and post-secondary education, and who are currently in their second or third years of university studies. If you are a self-starter who is passionate about energy and you have excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, this may be an opportunity for you. Powerex intends for Co-op Students to return for future Co-op terms or to a permanent Rotational Analyst role following graduation from university.  The Co-Op role is varied as it supports numerous teams throughout Powerex. One candidates’ rotation may not be the same as another’s.   During your Co-Op term you will support one of the teams within Powerex which will give you exposure to some of the unique aspects of our business:   - Deal sourcing and assessment  - Risk management; including financial analysis, research, and modeling   - Market Policy and Compliance   - Portfolio management; including monthly updating of financial models and providing support to management teams
